adrienne's Tour Diary

Today my youngest brother turned 18. I talked to my oldest brother before the show for the first time in 17 years and I will see him in China next week.
If we were on tour, the proximity of Balazo taqueria to Mezzanine would have seemed like heaven. I overlooked my self-imposed rule of no burritos before shows and ate half of one. It fell apart before I could finish it. CW's burrito never had an exoskeleton anyway.
Mezzanine might be the most recently constructed venue we've ever played, or it could tie with Nocturnal in Portland, which is also multi-level with few doors and many passageways. The backstage area is very nice, like a hotel almost, not unlike the Le Coin apartments in Amsterdam. We decided we could all live there quite happily in concord.
